I am trying out this new feature courtesy of MetroLyrics.com which seems like a pretty good place to get the lyrics to your favorite song. Many titles and genres found.
Below is currently my favorite song of the moment. It is included in my End of Summer playlist posted below. These lyrics are slightly different than the song posted, but are evidently the lyrics to the single released as you can see by the video Can You Tell
I prefer the first version found below, but the lyrics to both versions are still strong. Sweet + Simple = Great Tune

Where's Mr. Owl?

I don't know - I'm only noticing this now - but this icon from my youth looks naked...
Now I know why we all love Tootsie Pops

Epitome of a Pop Song
It always amazes me when a pop song comes out and becomes an instant classic. This one from Black Eyed Peas should be sung by people getting ready to hit the town for the next hundred years or so...Great song and video. Oh yeah, great Fergie too...

Small Ball
Here is some "Small Ball' courtesy of Toms River East Little League's AAA Ironbirds. The little man singles, steals second, moves to third on a ground out, and scores on a base hit. Congratulations to Number 5 on being selected to the 10-year-old All-Stars!

Best Unpronounceable Song of All-Time Nominee
Every once in a while, just when you start to lose faith in music, a song comes along that picks you up, spins you around, and makes you wonder what your life was ever like without it. Such is the case with this somewhat recent release by Icelanders Sigur Ros. Track 4 off their most recent LP með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust" is titled inní mér syngur vitleysingur English translation:'Within me a lunatic sings'
It's so good you have to listen (or watch) it three times...
This first YouTube clip is my favorite for obvious reasons, not the least of which are the two cute chippees jammin out, but also for capturing the essence of the song which is singing crazily and spinning happily. (Be patient thru the first 30 seconds)
The next clip is the official video
So what does it all mean, Basil? Here is a clip with English subtitles
Whether you are listening while walking, jogging, running or driving..TURN IT UP..I guarantee you won't be walking for long...
